My Life Has a Story: A Guided Autobiography Writing Class

My Life Has a Story: A Guided Autobiography Writing Class

Facilitated by Rickie Redman, certified Guided Autobiography Instructor

Here's an opportunity to reflect on your life and preserve your personal history while enjoying the camaraderie of a group. Each class includes creative reminiscing exercises, a weekly theme to focus on your narrative, and time to read your story in small groups.

This class is suited for anyone who has been curious about writing their story. We do not critique writing and focus on stories as a form of universal connection.

In this five-class series you will:

·         Engage in reminiscing techniques

·         Begin to preserve your history by writing about your personal experiences

·         Develop your unique writing style

·         Learn simple and effective writing tips

·         Enjoy creative exercises that stimulate your brain

·         Get inspired and learn tools to continue writing on your own

·         Write 2 page stories on a weekly theme at home

·         Share your story in small groups and listen to other participant's stories
