MUSIC INSIGHTS: Listening to New (Classical) Music
Presented by Laguna Beach Music Festival

Join Laguna Beach Music Festival on November 14 for an engaging conversation and performance, featuring violinist Madalyn Parnas Moller and cellist Erin Breene, which is designed to enhance your appreciation of classical and contemporary music as expressed through repertoire for violin and cello.

As an artist founded at the complex intersection of musical heritage and unprecedented innovations, American violinist Madalyn Parnas Moller secured her place on today's concert stage by bringing inimitable style and artistic vision to every performance. Since her solo debut at the age of twelve performing the Kabalevsky Violin Concerto, Ms. Parnas Moller's concert record throughout the US, Europe and Asia affirms her dedication to performance and new repertoire.

Cellist Erin Breene is currently a member of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and the Long Beach Opera Orchestra. She regularly performs with Pacific Symphony and the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra and has served as Principal Cellist of the San Diego Chamber Orchestra, Associate Principal Cellist with the Opera Pacific Orchestra, and Principal Cellist of Music Center Dance of Los Angeles. As a member of the Basmati Quartet, she was the Grand Prize winner at the Coleman National Chamber Music Competition, and Second Prize winner at the 1999 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition.

The Laguna Beach Music Festival is a collaboration of Laguna Beach Live! and the Philharmonic Society of Orange County.
